The first hint that this is no average S-class is the two dual-pipe exhausts poking out the back. Furthermore there are extra air intakes below the front bumper, which will help cooling down the car's mammoth AMG engine.
This high-performance AMG engine has a displacement of 6.3 litres and generates an output of 375 kW at 6 800 r/min. plus a maximum torque of 630 Nm.
It is expected that Mercedes will unveil the S63 AMG later this year. In the meantime South African buyers can look forward to the local introduction of the new S-Class in the final quarter of 2005.
