EASY DIESEL: The Renault Koleos range has a new flagship.
Renault has added a fourth model to it Koleos range in the form of an automatic diesel 4x4.
Renault South Africa’s Koleos SUV range is now four-strong with the addition of the 2.0 dCi Dynamique Premium auto 4x4 model.
The tongue-twister matches the automaker’s four-cylinder turbodiesel to a traffic-friendly six-speed automatic gearbox.
The two-litre engine produces 110kW at 4000rpm and has a torque peak of 320Nm at 2000. It's said to consume an average of 7.9 litres/100km on the combined cycle and has a CO2 emissions rating of 197g/km.
Being a top-spec Dynamique Premium model, the list of standard equipment is extensive and this Koleos comes packed with cruise control, satnav, an Arkamys 3D audio system and a hands-free keycard.
The Koleos also holds a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.
All Koleos models sold in South Africa come with a five-year or 150 000km warranty and a five-year or 100 000km service plan.
