Expert hackers have seized control - and stopped - a moving car through the internet. See why we should be concerned!

MIDRAND - After an eight year hiatus Camp Jeep returns once again to South Africa with the next event taking place from October 2-4 2015 in the Drakensberg Mountains.

Camp Jeep returns for the fourth time to SA soil and promises to offer something for the whole family. The last event took place at Alpine Heath in 2008, Camp Jeep 2015 will be hosted at Champagne Sports Resort in the Central Drakensberg.

It will be the largest gathering of Jeep vehicles and is open to all owners and fans of the brand countrywide. Following hot on the tyre tracks of the international event held in July this year in the beautiful Vallée Bleue, near Lyon, France, Camp Jeep SA will be run under the watchful eye of the Jeep Club SA.

TEST YOUR OFF-ROAD SKILLS

Attendees can test their 4x4 vehicle's abilities on a custom built off-road track as well as participate in the "Jeepkhana" and "Jeep Games". Attendees will also be able to sample several off-road trails in the vicinity of the venue; catering for drivers with off-road skills from novice all the way up to "hardcore" modified vehicle drivers.

It will also offer owners the opportunity to visit the Mopar Village where certified Jeep technicians will be on-hand to answer all Jeep related questions; tyre fitment specialists will be available to offer advice and indeed, the fitment of new tyres, the Fast Lane Service centre will attend to vehicles' oil change requirements on site.

The Mopar Village will also be the place to see live bands during the course of the weekend.

WATCH THE BOKKE

The main entertainment area overlooks the off-road track and will host the main festivities. Food and beverages will be on sale and a fan park has been constructed for ardent Rugby fans to cheer on the Springboks as they play Scotland in the Rugby World Cup.

The evening's festivities will be rounded off by an appearance by Mango Groove, one of South Africa's foremost bands.

Youngsters will enjoy, under structured supervision, the Children's Hub; games and entertainment will be provided. Of course, the younger people are also encouraged to join the parents on the 4x4 tracks and trails.

Accommodation at Camp Jeep SA will be available throughout the area with favorable rates having been negotiated with the local hotels, Bed & Breakfasts and even camping sites in the vicinity of Champagne Sports Resort.

Only Jeep's are allowed access to Camp Jeep SA.
