Cape Town - Mitsubishi South Africa says it has listened to local customer feedback to produce a special edition Triton bakkie with a host of additional practical equipment - the new Xtreme Limited Edition.
The Xtreme Limited Edition package comprises of the body styling kit which protects the key areas of the bakkie, as well as additional practical accessories. It's powered by a 2.4-litre MIVEC turbo diesel engine capable of 133kW/430Nm.

The bakkie is available in 4x2 and 4x4 double-cab configuration with the 4x4 derivatives available in manual- and automatic transmission.
Value for owners
The new Triton Xtreme and adds, says the automaker, "massive value in the form of more than R60 000 worth of additional features and accessories as part of the distinctive body kit".
Mitsubishi SA says: "However, this factory-installed body kit will cost buyers a mere R20 000 more than the listed retail price of the standard Triton double-cab derivative it is fitted to."
The imported body kit offers additional protection for high-risk components such as the front and rear lights, the grille and bonnet, wheel arches and tailgate, protecting it against superficial damage on off-road excursions.
