Updated line-up
Haval says customers can look forward to updated GWM products, which includes the reintroduction of its H5 and H6 SUV's and refreshed Steed bakkie line-ups. Premium Haval products are also set to be rolled out - starting with the Haval H2 at the end of May 2017.According to Haval, the H2 is powered by a 1.5-litre turbopetrol producing 105kW and 202Nm of torque. Drive is delivered to the front wheels via a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox.
H1 and H2 debut
Haval says that the biggest surprise of the H2 promises to be its "price", which will be announced at the launch. The smaller H1 crossover will also make its debut in SA.
The H2 is sold with a five-year or 100 000km warranty along with five years road assistance.
Haval says: "The South African market plays an important part in our international expansion strategy and going forward we will continue to distribute Haval and GWM vehicles, offer parts and service support as well as administer warranties through the already established dealer network."
