WATCH: SA driver's windscreen smashed by protesters while driving at night

South Africa - Protesters have been making their voices heard over the last couple of days with many taking to the South African highways to express their anger regarding service delivery.

Using different routes

Earlier this week, the N2 highway was closed from the R102 offramp to Macassar right through to Mew Way inbound towards Cape Town due to protest action, thus forcing motorists to use alternative routes.

What do you do when there are protesters causing havoc along the roads and causing traffic delays. Or, have you been a victim of protesters' actions? Tell us your story via emailFacebook and Twitter.

The Crime Intelligence & Community Awareness group (CICA) recently posted a video clip online showing a motorist's windscreen being smashed after being thrown with bricks along the highway.

Be vigilant

CICA urged road users to practice caution when travelling on the motorways amidst the protesting.
