Top Gear's Chris Harris escapes blazing wreck

Monaco - Top Gear presenters Chris Harris and Eddie Jordan were forced to get out of a burning car during filming of the BBC motoring show according to Digitalspy.com

The duo were filming a segment in Monaco on a closed section of the Monte Carlo Rally SS17 stage with an Alpine A110 and four rally cars.

Harrris said: "I first realised I needed to get out when I opened the door and the flames went up my arm."

The BBC reported that neither presenter was injured, however the car did not survive the blaze. The cause is not known.

The popular show returns for season 25 in February, Harris is part of the main trio including Matt Le Blanc and Rory Reid.
