Los Angeles - North Americans are preparing for their annual #ThanksGiving festivities as a result are clogging highways.
Along with the buzz of celebration comes shopping scrambles and epic traffic jams, as was the case in Los Angeles on Wednesday (Nov 22).
ABC news reports that 50.9 million commuters are expected to travel across this years #ThanksGiving celebration, a 3.3% increase from last years tally of 48 million.
The news agency also reports that according to Airlines for America, 2.38 million passengers will travel per day, 69 000 more travelers compared to last year
