The Need for Speed: Driver busted for speeding twice on the same day - hits 148km/h and 228km/h

A Nebraska woman took speeding to the next level when she drove over the limit twice in one day, travelling at 148km/h and then 228km/h.

According to 16WNDU, a 31-year old woman named Chauntl Wilson, driving a 2018 Ford Mustang, was initially pulled over by police for travelling at 148km/h in a 120km/h zone and given a warning before being told she could leave.

The need for speed

Fox News reports that the woman then "accelerated rapidly" away from police deputies and was clocked at  148km/h the second time around.

Police gave chase to the speeding Mustang and after refusing to stop at first, Wilson eventually pulled over and was arrested for reckless driving.

As if speeding from the cops wasn't enough, police found traces of Marijuana in the car which could lead to further charges. Read the full story here
