Cape Town - The Fast and Furious, a multi-billion dollar movie franchise owned by Unviversal, is set to become a live show according to the Guardian.
A world tour will commence in January 2018, dates and venues have not yet been announced.
The latest movie trailer for the franchise was released in December, called Fast 8, it will be released overseas in April. The movies have raked in over $4-billion worldwide.

According to Variety, the executive producers for the live shows are Chris Hughes and James Cooke-Priest who join writer/director Rowland French. The trio worked together on Top Gear Live for Brand Events.
The show will see cars used in the movies with performance drivers completing stunts seen in some of the films.
A statement, on the show's website read: Get ready to experience the adrenaline-fueled thrills of the franchise built on speed in a way you never have before.
