In South Africa, the club rotates the host city every two years, with every province being given an opportunity to showcase the event. After a decade of waiting, the Parade returns to the beautiful city of East London.

Karl Illenberger, president of the Porsche Club, Eastern Cape, said: “We are delighted to have this prestigious event return once again and would encourage all members of the public to experience the beauty of Porsche and the mark it has left on its South African enthusiasts over the years.

“There is plenty of fun to be had as dozens of vintage and high-performance models will be on display the entire weekend.”

Taking place from Friday the 28th of April until the 1st of May, the most prized Porsches from across the country will be on display. The club will also feature:

1. On Saturday, the Centlube ¼ Mile and Mobil 1 Top Speed run will take place at Bulembu Airport between 10h30am and 15h30pm
2. On Sunday, the club hosts the Big Foot Time Trials at the East London Grand Prix Circuit between 10h30am and 16h00pm, the same track that hosted the first South African Grand Prix
3. On Monday, the cars will be on display from 10h30am to 14h00pm in a Show ‘n Shine at Hemmingway’s Shopping Centre, where the Mobil 1 Mobilisers will be taking photos with the public

Illenberger said:  “We look forward to accommodating our club members from around the country as we strongly believe that our city is the most picturesque for this pinnacle event.

“We also want the people who don’t belong to the club to join us, as such an experience is earmarked in enthusiasts’ motoring calendars.”
