#FlashbackFriday: Clarkson, Hammond, May speak on why they love South Africa

Cape Town - Former Top Gear host Richard Hammond released a video via his YouTube channel chatting featuring co-hosts Jeremy Clarkson and James May speaking about South Africans and why they love coming to Mzansi.

Hammond, Clarkson and May will release a new motoring show, The Grand Tour, on Amazon Prime on November 18.

The broadcasters filmed the first studio segment at the cradle of humankind in Johannesburg earlier in 2016, reinforcing how much they love the country.

More: Why we can’t wait for Clarkson’s new show - The Grand Tour

Hammond uploaded the clip on Thursday (October 20). Sure it's a throwback but it's still fun to watch the motoring trio discuss South Africa.

Why the trio love South Africa:

• Our crowds make the 'loudest noise'

• In 2013, Clarkson visited Jozi more times than any other city

• We love to have a good time, we're not cynical

• SA crowds are the opposite of British crowds
