Explosions, hot cars, banter... The first trailer The Grand Tour is out and it looks set to deliver everything fans expect from Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.

Cape Town - Former Top Gear host Richard Hammond released a video via his YouTube channel chatting featuring co-hosts Jeremy Clarkson and James May speaking about South Africans and why they love coming to Mzansi.

Hammond, Clarkson and May will release a new motoring show, The Grand Tour, on Amazon Prime on November 18.

The broadcasters filmed the first studio segment at the cradle of humankind in Johannesburg earlier in 2016, reinforcing how much they love the country.

• In 2013, Clarkson visited Jozi more times than any other city

• We love to have a good time, we're not cynical

• SA crowds are the opposite of British crowds
