The exclusive event saw car enthusiasts enjoying fine indulge in a memorable day on the track, enjoying two of Ferraris new supercars.

Italian exotica on offer

Not only did Ferrari have its latest California T and 488 GTB available to test drive on the track but official Ferrari driving instructors, known as Corso Pilota, were also flown out from Italy to assist, advise, and instruct on the day.

Both models available to order from Scuderia South Africa.

Ferrari California T

The California T sports Ferrari's latest design tweakn while retaining signature features such as the  2+2 concept, a refined cabin and, of course, the retractable hard top (RHT). It's roof transforms it from a chic coupé into a sleek spider in a mere 14 seconds.

Maranello’s engineers have created an entirely new power unit; the new direct-injection 3855cc turbocharged 8-cylinder is mounted very low in the chassis in a mid-front position and delivers 412kW, which translates into a specific power output of 107kW/litre (the highest in its segment) along with maximum torque of 755Nm. The engine propels the California T to 100km/h sprint in 3.6 seconds.

Ferrari 488 GTB

The new V8 sported by the 488 GTB is Ferrari's latest attempt to set new benchmarks in car excellence.

Regardless of the model or its mission, the heart of every Ferrari is its engine which should deliver the automaker's classic qualities - blistering performance, razor-sharp responsiveness, powerful acceleration and an exhilarating soundtrack.

The Ferrari 488 GTB’s all-new 3902 cc V8 turbo is at the top of its class in terms of power output. It delivers 492kW at 8000rpm and a response time to the accelerator of just 0.8 seconds (at 2000 rpm in third gear), setting the benchmark for this kind of architecture, thanks in part to innovative work carried out on the turbine to reduce friction and inertia.

Consequently, the Ferrari 488 GTB sprints from 0-100 km/h in 3 seconds flat and from 0-200 km/h in just 8.3. Ferrari’s engineers dedicated resources to perfecting the car’s sound.

The Ferrari 488 GTB’s exceptional sportiness and performance are underscored by its aggressive styling.

7 years maintenance plan

Ferrari’s focus on client service is demonstrated by its extended seven-year maintenance programme offered with the California T and Ferrari 488 GTB. Available across the entire range, it covers all regular maintenance for the first seven years of the car’s life. The service is available through Scuderia South Africa.

This scheduled maintenance programme for Ferraris is an exclusive service that allows clients the certainty that their car is being kept at peak performance and safety over the years.

The Genuine Maintenance programme further extends the range of after-sales services offered by Ferrari to satisfy clients wishing to preserve the performance and excellence that are the signatures of all cars built in Maranello.
