Cape Town - The Wheels24 team has had a busy week.
With Christmas looming large on the horizon and the year getting ready to go to sleep, the team had to really spark to get the best out of what the motoring world has to offer.
Normally this time of the year things are quiet, but thanks to some fine work we managed to come up with some stellar stories you simply can't miss.
For starters, and perhaps the breakout story of the month (if not the year!) was Brad Binder taking the time to chat to Wheels24. After winning the 2016 Moto3 championship Binder has been flooded with media obligations. But the champ sat down for a great interview.
Sticking with sport, Springbok prop 'Beast' Mtawarira signed up to be Ford South Africa ambassador. His vehicle: a modified Ford Mustang pushing out 280kW!
We also drove a couple of cars this month, though from two very different ends of the spectrum. The JMC Landwind 5 paid a visit from the East (China) and the Merc CLA45 AMG waved Germany's flag on high.
But the classic of the week surely goes to one reader who restored a 1979 Ford Escort 1600 panel van. And we have to say, that car now looks absolutely amazing!
