Cape Town - I can't remember exactly how old I was when I started driving, but I know it came naturally from watching my dad drive his 1600 Ford Escort Mk2 while I was growing up.
I do remember though when I borrowed my late uncle's car without anyone's permission - or knowledge. I must have been 14-years old when my cousin and I (just three years younger than me at the time) decided to take her dad's maroon Toyota Cressida for a drive around the area. Since I was older, and taller, I got behind the wheel and our little cruise was one I'll never forget.
