DETROIT, Michigan - General Motors will auction its first 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 and the first 2014 COPO Camaro at the Barrett-Jackson auction in January 2014.
The Detroit News reported that the COPO Camaro, a race version with serial No.1 of 69 examples that will be built, would be auctioned live on January 17 2014 in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The proceeds, the DetNews said, would benefit the Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans, a group that helps wounded veterans take part in marathons.
On January 18 2014, Chev's fastest-yet-on-the-track Camaro Z/28, with vehicle identification number ending in 0001, will be auctioned to benefit Cornerstone Schools in Detroit.
People interested in bidding can submit them at the auction or online.
