Top Gear Korea presenter Kim Jin Pyo, gets behind the wheel of a Corvette ZR1 and takes on a AH1 Cobra helicopter with disastrous consequences.

ARIZONA, USA - Top Gear is synonymous with great motoring action and vehicular-madness. Disaster often strikes as the hit motoring show and its spin-offs continue to push the envelope in its stunts.

A battle between an attack helicopter and a Chevrolet Corvette turned disastrous as the chopper crashed into the Arizona desert.

DESERT CRASH


During filming of Top Gear Korea, presenter Kim Jin Pyo got behind the wheel of a Corvette ZR1 and took on a Bell AH1 Cobra helicopter.

A video
uploaded to YouTube captured the crash.

Miraculously, both the pilot and the cameraman were not injured. According to CNN, the pair credited their survival to the thick armour plating of the Vietnam War era military helicopter.
