The Smart ForTwo received a new look in 2012 with the brand targeting a city-dwellers around the globe world. Spy photographers spotted the next-generation ForTwo prototype in 2012. It was reported that a stretched four-seater version is also in the works.

The German automaker has reiterated the car's purpose in a hilarious video. The clip shows a ForTwo attempting to take on the great outdoors and, unsurprisingly, it fails miserably.
The purpose of the video is to take a jab at SUV owners in cities and states its ForTwo is "as good as an off-roader in the city..."
