VIDEO: Build a paper model Honda S2000

Unfortunately they're how longer in new-car showrooms and a used unit will cost a small fortune. So how about building one for nothing? It'll be a paper model but heck, it's better than nothing.

Honda Parts Online released an online S2000 paper assembly kit, available through a free download.

The automaker says the key features include

  • Zero maintenance.
  • Unlimited speed - it's every bit as fast as you imagine it is.
  • Replacement tyres are very affordable
  • You can race without a helmet
  • If it's damaged, just bust out some glue. Or, print another
  • Zero emissions - doesn't burn a drop of petrol, no matter how far you drive it.

Click here to download the free file... just make sure you print the file on HARD paper. Using colour will help.

Honda Parts Online said: "We suggest printing on some heavy stock paper with a glossy finish. Grab a hobby knife, some glue, and a cutting pad."

Watch this assembly video of the paper S2000 on YouTube.

The best part is that if you fail you can always try again. Happy folding: here's a snatch of the video...
