VW names new drop-top

The new VW coupe-cabriolet will be named the Eos, which refers to the Greek goddess of the dawn.

VW will officially unveil the Eos at next month?s Frankfurt Motor Show and according to the first info it will feature a comprehensive engine range with power outputs ranging from 85 kW to 184 kW.

This means that the Eos will be available with the new Golf R32?s 3.2-litre V6 engine. It will also come with the company?s 147 kW 2.0 turbo FSI unit.
