A MOTORING ENTHUSIAST'S DREAM: TomTom's competition give entrants the opportunity to win a trip along one of the world's most iconic driving routes.

TomTom has launched an online competition called 'TomTom Gives You More' which offers to let winners “unwrap the world” with one of six unforgettable driving adventures - one of them in South Africa.

The game is easy to play and puts players’ virtual unwrapping skills to the test. To be eligible to win, entrants need to select a wrapped-up continent and unwrap it. In addition to the six main prizes, there are thousands of others, among them TomTom satnavs, Nike+ sports watches and gift vouchers. The global  - yes, it includes South Africa - competition will run until January 15, 2013.

GIVE CHRISTOPHER A HAND

The six top-prizewinners will be sent on a two-week driving adventure for four along one of these spectacular routes:  Route 40 in Argentina, the Garden Route in South Africa, the Grand Alpine Tour in Europe, the Malaysian Roundabout, the Australian Coastal Route or or the Pacific Coastal Highway in California.

TomTom’s campaign video can be viewed on YouTube.

Contestants should visit the TomTom website  between now and January 15 2013 to play the game. Players pick a route to follow and help Christopher unwrap presents along the way.

Once contestants have successfully unwrapped an entire route they’ll be asked to create and upload a file that explains why they think they should win the holiday. It could be a video, a song, a short story - even a short poem.

The most original and fun entry will win the route they just unwrapped.
