JAGUAR XF SPORTBRAKE: A prototype will be run as a support vehicle for the Tour of Britain cycle race.

 

LONDON, England - A unique prototype of Jaguar’s upcoming XF Sportbrake is running on UK roads as a support vehicle for Team Sky riders in the Tour of Britain.

Jaguar and Team Sky worked together in the recent Tour de France which was won by Team Sky rider Bradley Wiggins.

'UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY'

Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar’s global brand director, said: "The Tour of Britain is a great opportunity for Jaguar to underline its support for Team Sky. The British public is incredibly proud of its nation's sports stars right now after the Tour de France and the Olympics and Paralympics.

“This is a unique opportunity to see the versatile new Jaguar XF Sportbrake on the road; feedback after its global debut in France indicates this new model will be another British success story!"

A Team Sky support crew will drive the Jaguar XF Sportbrake behind a team that includes high-profile British riders Chris Froome, Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish and Luke Rowe.
