Detective Adam Osoro reported that the woman was fleeing from officers at 160km/h on Sunday (Oct 13) when she drove under the track crossing barriers and smashed into the side of a passing train.

Her car came to rest on the other set of tracks. Officers tried breaking the window to get her out but had to jump out of the way before second locomotiven rammed into her car less than a minute after the first collision.
The woman suffered only broken bones.
Osoro says the woman fled after police were called to a house in Salt Lake City, Utah. It wasn't clear Tuesday if she was facing any criminal charges.
What was clear was that she was very, very, lucky to be alive.
