What better way for dads and their lads - or petrol princesses - to spend some quality time together than being at the 2013 Top Gear Festival.
According to organisers, the festival promises a new live show featuring Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and racing driver, The Stig.
NEW CIRCUIT LAY-OUT
The upcoming show also brings a new lay-out for the street circuit with enhancements to the track allowing for greater overtaking possibilities and improved viewing for spectators.
Former Formula 1 champion Mika Häkkinen, presenters and challengers will be on track to entertain, while there’ll also be loads of Motorsport SA racing action.
The extreme Action Zone will host FMX bikes and a 4x4 area to keep motors revving; along with the Shell Stunt School, featuring professional drivers piloting vehicles through jaw dropping manoeuvres. Daredevil handbrake turns, multiple car donuts and high speed drifting is on the menu.
New at the show will be the Epic Go-Karting tracks, R100 per person will see you doing some laps. Tickets will be on sale on the day at the Go Kart track.
If you prefer driving in the slow lane, the People’s Park exhibition will suffice with latest models and accessories on show.
