While Mercedes-Benz has released a handful of official "spy-photos" of the upcoming SLC sports car, previously known as the “baby SLS”, spy photographers captured the new model racing at the Nurburgring, Germany.
Reportedly codenamed the C190, the prototype is heavily camouflaged but appears to be heavily influenced by the SLS. Notable highlights include a elongated hood, conventional doors and a sporty rear-end with a dual-exhausts.

Engine options remain unconfirmed but previous reports have indicated the model could be powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 that develops approximately 361kW.
There have also been rumours about a range-topping Black Series variant which could produce as much as 436kW.
The SLC is expected to be launched in 2015.
