SPIED: Renault Fluence facelift

2012-07-10 13:31

GOING UNDER THE KNIFE: Renault’s Fluence receives exterior and interior upgrades with a face lifted model due later in 2012.

Renault is planning to spruce up its Fluence sedan and a production-ready version was spotted in southern Europe. Take a look at the fresh face of Fluence!

The car spotted in France is a mid-life (hence the surgery) but was on the road with minimal camouflage.

The Fluence will receive a new front bumper, head and tail lights. We also expect to see minor updates to the interior.

The new Fluence is set to make its debut before the end of 2012.

In April Renault boosted its current Fluence range with the addition of the Authentique which sees the line-up expanding to four models powered by a mix of 1.6 and two-litre petrol engines.

The Authentique variant uses is powered by a 1.6 engine which produces 81kW at 6000rpm and has a peak torque figure of 156Nm at 4400rpm. A five-speed manual transmission is standard.
