Porsche’s compact Macan was launched earlier in 2014. The initial line-up comprises three models (S Diesel, S and Turbo) but will expand as with other Porsche models to include a GTS in the near future.
Spy photographers captured the Porsche Macan in GTS guise -the round exhaust pipes in combination with the Turbo’s front gives it away.

The Porsche Cayenne and Panamera sedan both feature the GTS and Turbo S badges, respectively representing a more road-focused variant and the flagship with the most powerful engine and fastest performance.
Porsche CEO Matthias Muller said: "Our intention was to position the Macan above the Audi Q5, according to our brand’s position in the group of Volkswagen-owned companies."
Designed to sit between the Macan S and the Macan Turbo, the GTS will deliver around 268kW to 275kW. The S delivers 253kW from its 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 while the Turbo delivers 298kW from a 3.6-litre twin-turbo engine.
According to Porsche South Africa, the Macan will reach our shores by mid-2014. Local prices and specs will be released closer to its launch date.
