A pre-production Porsche 918 has been spotted going round the Nurburgring in the famous Martini racing team livery.
The supercar follows on from where the 959 and the Carrera GT left off but follows a greener path as it has the German automaker's hybrid technology.
The 918 Spyder is powered by a 4.6 V8 engine and two electric motors. The petrol V8 is capable of 430kW and combined with the electric motor's output of 200kW, the hybrid produce a frightening 630kW.

The first battery sends power to the front wheels, the second is included in the gearbox assembly and motivates the rear axle.
All that power translates to a 0-100km/h time of less than three seconds and a top speed of more than 325km/h as well as a Nürburgring lap time of less than 7min22.
