NEXT COMPACT PUG SUV: Peugeot’s 2008 will make its global debut in 2013.
When Peugeot took the covers off its Urban Crossover Concept in Beijing earlier in 2012 it inadvertently gave us a preview of the its new crossover variant based on the 208.
Following Peugeot's nomenclature designated for SUV's and MPV's, the vehicle will likely be named the 2008 to slot in below the 3008 crossover.
According to Automotive News Europe, the crossover will enter the new compact SUV segment when it goes on sale in Europe and Asia.
The Urban Crossover will have its European debut at the Paris auto show in September and the production version 2008 will debut in 2013.
