Spy photographers captured Volkswagen’s new T6 van undergoing testing. The current T5, launched in 2003, received a major facelift in 2009.
The big question is whether the T6 will be a new version yet another comprehensive revamp.
It's believed that the pedestrian safety and emissions regulations set to be enforced in Europe in 2020 will force VW to come up with a radically improved design. If this turns out to be true, the T6 will be an evolutionary model and with a possible “T7” being a completely new version.

The spied T6 test vehicles are a bit unusual as the camouflaged front-end new though the rest of the body comes from the T5. The test units also have new interiors.
In the spy shots you can catch a glimpse of the new dashboard. It’s much larger than the current dash and the position of the controls on the door means the ergonomics could be better than before.
The VW T6 could be released later in 2015 in three versions - Transporter, Multivan and Caravelle.
