Lexus is preparing to launch the fourth generation of its mid-sized crossover, the RX, the current version having been around since 1998.
Spy photographers captured the new SUV undergoing testing.
It’s set to compete in the mid-sized luxury crossover segment, taking on the Mercedes-Benz GLE and Volkswagen Touareg.

The new RX is larger than the outgoing version, offering more interior space. It benefits from a re-designed front grille and a new, improved LEDs.
Engine details have yet to be confirmed but its rumoured the new crossover could sport a V8 capable of 260kW and mated to an eight-speed auto, driving power to the rear wheels.
Lexus is also working on a hybrid variant.
