SPIED: Next Hyundai MPV

2012-02-16 13:15

SPOTTED: Hyundai's ix30 MPV will debut later in 2012.

Our spy photographers have spotted Hyundai’s next MPV undergoing testing in northern Scandinavia.

The new model is a six-seater MPV and a variant of this vehicle may be a replacement for the Kia Korando.

Our spy images the of the ix30, first shown as the HED-5 i-Mode concept at the 2008 LA Auto Show, appears to have a greatly reduced slope towards the rear of the car, compared to the concept model.

At the front you can spot the slanting windscreen, a homage to the HED-5.

Unlike the concept, the prototype features a B pillar and thicker roofline. The new ix30 is set to debut later in 2012.
