The convertible version of the striking SLS AMG is still some way away, but the latest spy images show the covers are slowly starting to come off.
These images of the convertible version of the super-hot Mercedes SLS AMG supercar shows that the level of camouflage is being reduced and that more detail on the actual car is evident.
The convertible's lights, grille and air intakes are visible here, however, the biggest change between the tin-top and rag-top versions will be the convertible's traditional doors, rather then the coupe's signature gullwings. The car will also get an SLR convertible-like powered roof.
However, there's some time to go before the next version of the SLS is launched. It is expected that the SLS cabrio will only be launched in 2012.
