According to Automedia, Mercedes-Benz will reduce the life of the model to six instead of the traditional seven years.
Little is known about the faclifted B-Class though spy images reveal that changes will be made to the front and rear - especially the grille, head and tail lights.
Engines and transmissions will likely be carried over from the current range. The new B-Class is expected to be unveiled at the October 2014 Paris auto show.
