Our spies spotted a test mule sporting what will become of VW’s seventh-generation Golf.Though our covert photographers were unsuccessful in taking pics of the new model’s exterior (the pix in the gallery are computer-generated images) we have a few interior shots. The test car used showcases interior changes for all the new variants of the next Golf, including the hatchback and coupe. Other variants planned are estate, cabriolet and Golf Plus models. In our spy pics you can spot the new 360-degree layout of the instruments, which shows the fuel and temperature dials integrated into the two main dials.Unlike the speedometer the fuel and temperature gauges will be visualised through LED lights. The new layout provided more space for the centre display.VW’s current climate controls, using LED's, will be changed. The German automaker seems set to reprise designs seen in older models with the temperatures shown as digital figures in small displays left and right of the seat-heating buttons.Check out our gallery!
