Our spies spotted a hatchback variant of the Japanese automaker’s Toyota Corolla undergoing testing in southern Italy.
The new model, though heavily disguised, seems to borrow plenty in terms of design from its Auris sibling and is based on the Lexus CT 200h hatchback.
The prototype is likely to feature the same powerplant as the Prius and Auris.
A launch date for the Corolla hatchback has not been set.
