SPOTTED: BMW's new M6 Cabriolet is spotted during testing in Germany.
BMW’s M6, rumoured to be true Audi R8 fighter this time around, has been uncovered by our spies in cabriolet guise.
The new model was snapped near Germany’s Nurburgring track and, though disguised, gives us an idea of what the final product will look like.
We reported in 2010 that the M6 will be powered by a 4.4-litre bi-turbo V8 derived from the current X5 and X6 M models. It is rumoured this engine, in the new M6, will produce between 425kW and 433kW.
In the pics you can see the vehicle riding on massive 20-inch wheels though we reckon there will probably be larger options available.
