Our spies managed to catch an Audi S6 prototype on its way from a German port to Swedish Gothenburg.
In our spy pix it’s clear that Audi has taken a rather tame approach in terms of design for the new model. The S6 can be distinguished by its sportier fascia, aerodynamic side skirts and a four-pipe exhaust system.
We can expect the production model to feature a revised grille and faux aluminium mirror casings.
REDUCED POWER
Under the bonnet, power will likely be provided by a turbocharged four-litre V8. The new engine will also be used in the Bentley Continental GT and is capable of producing 309kW.
This is sad news for S6 fans; the outgoing 5.2 V10 produced 320kW, which sees an 11kW reduction in power compared to the new engine.
