Our spy photographers captured images of Audi’s new A6 Avant during testing. The German carmaker has removed the heavy camouflage usually disguising its test models to allow us a glimpse of how the new car looks.Design changes on the new model include angular more aggressive headlights and a new lower front fascia. From our spy spics you can see the new model sporting new door handles and side mirrors. The A6 Avant will undergo a big change underneath, moving from Volkswagen's Group C-chassis to Audi's MLB, modular aluminum chassis. The engine range should include the supercharged 3.0-litre V6 and a new 4.0-litre V8 Audi is currently working on. Two new transmissions, an eight-speed automatic and a seven-speed dual clutch, will also be in store for the new A6.Production is set to start later in 2011 at Audi's Neckarsulm plant in Germany.
