FACELIFTED CROSSOVER: BMW's new 5 Series GT will make its debut at the 2013 North American International Auto Show.

BMW is giving its 5 Series GT crossover a radical facelift to help boost sales, especially in the US.

Spotted undergoing testing, spy images of the refreshed GT have been captured.

The model will receive a new front bumper with modified air intakes. In our spy images, the headlights and grille seem to be left untouched.

The model will lose its massive rear spoiler in favour of a somewhat more elegant rear end.
