Sporty Yaris set to turn heads

2006-08-31 07:25

The Yaris TS is set to be revealed at the 2006 Paris Motor Show

However, judging by the sporty look of the concept model, it already reveals a faster model is about to hit the market.

The new Yaris Sport will have a new 1,8-liter VVT-I petrol engine, with an output of 98kW of power. The trendy go-getter will be able to reach a top speed of 194km/h.

The car will only be available early next year in European show rooms in the beginning of 2007. Whether or not it will be reaching South African shores, is still unknown news.

A concept version of the Yaris TS was revealed earlier this year at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show.

The end result will not look much different to the concept model. We'll have to wait until the official photographs are set to be released to the public at the 2006 Paris Motor Show during 30 September to 15 October.
