Spy photographers spotted Mercedes-Benz new GLE 63 AMG Coupe virtually undisguised.
Previewed by the Concept Coupe SUV, the GLE 63 AMG sports an assertive front with a single bar grille and large air intakes.
The crossover has a ventilated hood, plastic body cladding and side steps with metallic accents. It also has a tailgate-mounted spoiler, a four-tailpipe exhaust and high-performance brakes with red callipers.

The crossover has a sporty roofline designed to resemble a coupe.
Despite the automaker introducing its new twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 earlier in 2014, the GLE 63 AMG is expected to use the familiar twin-turbo 5.5-litre V8. It currently produces 391kW/700Nm but could be upgraded to better compete with the BMW X6 M.
