Visible through the fake mesh is the single-bar engine grille, an AMG trademark, while the front bumper seems to be sporting an A-shaped air intake, as with every AMG model.
WHAT'S IN A NAME
Another hint to AMG is the quad exhausts, which should be connected to one of two probable engines.
Recent reports suggest about the automaker's M157 will be used in the BMW X6-fighter, with the 5.5-litre twin-turbocharged V8 to offer 415kW/720Nm in the “basic” version and 436kW/800Nm in the S-Model variant.
The engine will be paired to a AMG Speedshift MCT 7-speed auto and all-wheel drive .
Automedia reports that the new family of engines might be used in the MLC and that the automaker could call the vehicle the ML-Coupe or M-Class Coupe.
Whatever the name will be, the AMG version should arrive at least six months after the standard version is launched, which would make it a 2016 model.
