SPIED: Ford Ranger facelift

Ford’s Ranger bakkie is getting a major facelift to bring it in line with the design of its new Everest SUV.

Wheels24's spy guys spotted the new Ranger undergoing testing in eastern Europe.

Their images reveal the Ranger will receive a front-end update that includeschanges to the grille and headlights.

RANGER RANGE EXPANDS

Changes will also be made to the rear and the cabinl, though not reflected on this early prototype snapped by our spy photographers.

Earlier in June 2014 Wheels24 reported that Ford would expand its Ranger bakkie line-up with a new SUV - one version of which will be a seven-seater.

According to Ford, the new model will "set an SUV benchmark" while delivering "great off-road capability and toughness".
