SA passenger car sales by province for November 2017

Cape Town -  The South Africa vehicle market has grown for a sixth consecutive month with 49 651 cars sold in November, compared to the 35 316 during October.

The National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (Naamsa), new vehicle sales in November grew 7% for a total of 49 651 units sold.

Naamsa said: "Led by a strong performance in the new car segment, the overall market registered encouraging gains of 7.2% - despite the continued difficult economic environment characterised by political and economic policy uncertainty."

Lightstone Auto  has provided us with a list of passenger car sales by province. Lightstone's data includes overall sales so far in 2017 as well as for November 2017. Overall, Gauteng leads the way with 114 882 units sold to date.
