SA prices: New Volvo V40

TAKING ON 1 AND 3: With prices starting under R300 000, Volvo's stunning V40 is set to take on the BMW 1 Series and Audi A3 when it arrives on our shores.
Volvo Car South Africa has released the pricing and line-up for its new V40 hatchback before it goes on sale in November.
The hatchback, which will rival BMW’s 1 Series and the upcoming Audi A3 range, will be launched in South Africa in four derivatives – the T3 manual, T4 manual, D2 manual and D3 Geartronic.
'PUBLIC EAGER'
The remainder of the local line-up, including the Volvo V40 R-Design, will be available from March 2013.
The latest Volvo was launched in Italy in June, 2012 (Wheels24 was there) and will be available for test drives at Volvo dealerships from October 15, 2012.
