The Range Rover driver was Alexian Lien (33), said CarThrottle.com, and he was travelling with his wife and a child.

Lien is seen driving straight through the gang of bikers in an attempt to get away after some of the bikers allegedly started slashing his tyres. Lien got away but the bikers caught up with him when he was stuck in traffic. One of the bikers is seen smashing the car’s driver side window and repeatedly hitting the driver with his helmet.

According to reports, several other bikers then allegedly pulled Lien from his vehicle and continued to assault him.

The New York post reports that the biker, Christopher Cruz (28), who caused the entire incident, had been arrested and charged with several offences. The charges include “reckless endangerment, reckless driving and endangering the welfare of a child”, according to the reports.

Cruz was also one of the bikers who was struck by Lien.

Another biker, Jeremiah Mieses (26) was more seriously injured and paralysed when his spine was crushed in the incident, according to reports.
