The Rimac Concept_One electric hypercar will make its debut at this year’s Salon Privé, the UK’s most prestigious supercar event over September 5-7.Only 88 of the sensational Rimac Concept_One will be produced and each will cost the equivalent of more than R8-million.The team behind the battery car includes designers who used to work for Italian styling house Pininfarina and top Bulgarian leatherworkers from Vilner, among others.'EXCEPTIONAL SUPERCAR'This unique new car can produce the astronomical equivalent of 811kW due to its 92kWh battery which powers four sets of electric motors at each wheel. All four systems can operate independently and accelerate and decelerate hundreds of times per second. Rimac labels this "all-wheel torque vectoring.The Concept_One’s performance is shattering: 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds; top speed 300km/h; claimed range 600km.
