Red Bull launches bid for 5 in a row

JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA, Spain - Reigning Drivers' and Constructors' Formula 1 champions Red Bull has unveiled its car for 2014 as pre-season testing got under way in Jerez, southern Spain, on today (Jan 28 2014).

The Renault-powered RB10 will spearhead four-times World champion Sebastian Vettel's attempt to tie compatriot Michael Schumacher's record of winning five in a row.

Vettel stormed to the title in 2013,155 points clear of second-placed Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso but a series of technical rule changes implemented for 2014 is expected to produce a more competitive contest.

PROMOTED FROM JUNIORS

Vettel also has a new team mate for 2014: Australian Daniel Ricciardo has joined the team after two seasons with junior sister team Toro Rosso.

Ricciardo has replaced Mark Webber who retired at the end of the previous season.
