Wheels24 reader Shaarkir Marthinus shares his car drawings.

Shaakir Marthinus (29) from Macassar, near Somerset West in the Western Cape, had this to say:

"I've always loved drawing, especially cars. I do other work such as portraits and graffiti but cars are just great to draw.

Whatever I dream about I can put to paper... like my fantasy cars. I grew up loving all cars especially old Ford Escorts and Cortinas, Toyotas and many more. I love engines and the aesthetics of the motor vehicle itself.

As a school boy I assisted my neighbour with fixing cars, he taught me everything I know today. So I can only say I love the automobile."
